2017 Wine Cellar Open House
This year’s Wine Cellar Open House brings you opportunity at Slovakia’s biggest wine-making event to peek into 160 different wine cellars. The doors to 200 winegrowers in the Lesser Carpathian Wine Region will be open.
Where does it all begin? It starts at Devín, right under ancient Devín Castle. And its cellar won’t be the only one the public can see; the cellars at Červený Kameň and Smolenice Castle will be open, too.
Also ready to greet you will be tiny and yet cozy cellars, alongside cutting-edge wineries and warm tasting rooms on the road between Bratislava and Devín as well as at Vajnory, Rača, Svätý Jur, Limbach, Modra, Častá, Doľany, all the way to Trnava.
And what makes this event the most tempting? Tasting excellent Lesser Carpathian wines that were still a bit rough around the edges at the Wine Cellar Open House in May, while enjoying candid observations from winegrowers and encounters with acquaintances.
The wine cellars are open from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm on both November 17th and 18th
Admission is €50.00 and includes up to €25.00 off total wine purchased. Buy the tickets here.
