In 2015, it will be 70 years since the end of WW2. Already at that time the Russian army has had an army ensemble Alexandrov. To mark this important anniversary, the descendants of the Russian artists of wartime, who have continued in the work of their ancestors to this day, decided to organize a major European tour. The ensemble performed for the first time in 1941 when soldiers of the Russian army marched to war. During WW2 the Alexandrov Ensemble divided itself into several groups and encouraged Soviet troops throughout the duration of the war with national and military songs such as Svjaščennaja ment (Holy War), which is still a reference to the group founder Alexander.
