Mozart’s music returns to Bratislava

The festival has built up its musical tradition and an annually expanding audience. The latest, already ninth edition will bring a series of four concerts, which will contribute this autumn to the offer of cultural activities of the capital with their interpretative and content quality and a varied accompanying programmes. Mozart’s captivating music will be complemented by a musical tour and master classes for students.

Mozart Festival consists of four concerts full of exceptional works presented by important Slovak and European artists. Lovers of classical music can look forward to extraordinary artistic experiences presented by “Mozart” music specialists in representative concert venues with a professional accompanying expert interpretation and refreshment.

In addition to traditional concerts, the festival will also offer a rich accompanying program in the form of master classes with renowned musicians or an attractive Musical Walk.

A special musical tour through old Bratislava, inspired by the program of the current edition of the Bratislava Mozart Festival, will be guided by Zuzana Godárová on Sunday, November 13, at 5 p.m.

This year, there will be two master classes for students of music disciplines. Participation and admission is free. On Friday, November 18, Javier Zafra will lead the Bassoon Class, and on Monday, November 21, the Violin Class will be held under the leadership of Peter Spišský.

Come to enjoy the exceptional music of the world-famous Wolgang Amadeus Mozart, who performed in Bratislava as a six-year-old.
