CHRISTMAS CONCERT – ADOREMUS AND WARCHALOVCI
Please accept an invitation on Christmas concert of Slovak Chamber Orchestra of Bohdan Warchala and Slovak choir Adoremus, which will be held on 26th December 2015 in St. Martin´s Cathedral in Bratislava at 3 p.m.
Under the lead of conductor Ewald Danel and choirmaster Dušan Bill they will perform the well-known Christmas Mass “The Good News” by Jozef Halma in adaptation by Dušan Bill for mixed choir and orchestra. Christmas carols herald the story of coming of the King of people’s hearts in various forms. There is an instrumental piece of music included in the programme, which by its nature emphasizes the Christmas atmosphere – the well-known Concerto grosso G minor, no. 8, op. 6 Fatto per notte di Natale / made for the night of Christmas by Arcangelo Corelli. Unique atmosphere of the holy Night, which calls human souls to calm down and accept the eternal message about the Birth, will at the end of the concert be enriched by the favourite Grúber´s Silent Night.
