Bratislava post-socialist city tour

Funky retro tour in a legendary 70’s Czechoslovak Škoda car (or minivan) through off-the-beaten-track places of communist past and recent transformation in Bratislava.

Visit concrete housing estate area, soviet monument Slavín, abandoned factories, riverside developments, bunker line from 1938 and loads of socialist architecture. Local insight guaranteed.

Get an authentic overview of Bratislava from above. Walk around the largest cemetery for Soviet soldiers under the magnificent Slavín monument. Take a look at the largest socialist realism square in Bratislava with the largest fountain of unexpected shape.

Enjoy the 1970’s architecture of the House of Trade Unions and the hi-tech market hall. Take a ride through the largest housing estate area in Central Europe – legendary Petržalka district. Visit unique Iron Curtain zone at the edge of Bratislava with the line of bunkers from 1938.

Please note that in some cases (winter conditions, car repairs etc.) we can not guarantee the retro car, but go with our funky green VW Caravelle. Thank you for understanding.
