From 25 to 27 July 2025, Bratislava – the former coronation city of the Kingdom of Hungary – transforms into a vibrant stage of royal heritage. For one summer weekend, history comes alive in the streets, squares and courtyards of the Slovak capital.
🌟 Experience the atmosphere of a real coronation!
During the Bratislava Coronation Days, you’ll witness:
⚔️ A spectacular knight’s tournament full of clashing swords, noble horses and heroic duels – Tyršovo embankment, Friday at 17:30
🏇 The coronation procession with costumed monarchs and nobles marching through the Old Town – Bratislava Castle to Main Square, Saturday at 16:00
👑 The coronation act brought to life through Renaissance music, ceremonial dance and historical rituals – Main Square, Saturday at 17:00
🍷 The Blue Frankish and Bratislava Wines Festival will bring the local beverage of kings and queens also to you
🎭 Family-friendly performances, workshops, and historical games for all generations – various locations throughout the weekend
🔍 Themed walking tours led by expert guides, bringing real coronation stories to life – daily in the Old Town, with registration
📍 All main events take place in the historical centre of Bratislava – the very same places where kings and queens once walked.
