As well as being the most modern football stadium in Slovakia, it is also sustainable and environment-friendly. Almost 50% of the heating system for the stadium and its green pitch comes from renewable sources. As adequate for a state-of-the-art stadium, the sports venue is the only one in Central Europe that allows the entire graphics of the stadium to be controlled from one computer system. The stadium even uses its own face recognition system. Tehelné Pole is situated in a location that has been a synonym for sports in Bratislava.
