Several cultural events will enrich Bratislava’s happenings in autumn. One of the most anticipated is the White Night, a festival of contemporary art that takes place annually and showcases modern Slovakian art. Among other festivals, the Slovakian capital is slated to host Bratislava Jazz Days and Bratislava in Movement Festival, an international contemporary dance festival.

The autumn season of festivals in Slovakia’s capital was kicked off by the Symphony of Art Festival, which hosted Jose Cura, a famous operatic tenor and well-loved musical genius. Among other world-renowned opera singers were Rolando Villazón, Emily Pogorelc and many others.

The largest and most visited contemporary art festival in Slovakia

White Night is a prestigious international project that aims to bring contemporary art forms as well as unconventional, unfamiliar or significant places in European capitals closer to the public. The festival offers visitors an unusual artistic walk through the city at night, full of experiences and new sensations, which lasts from sunset to sunrise. For one extraordinary weekend, night becomes day, and the streets of the night city in Bratislava teem with people and art.
