The Shabani family originates from Albania. Brothers Bekim and Benjamin represent the second generation continuing the gastronomic tradition in Bratislava. Their vision is to include staple dishes from Spain, Greece, Albania and Portugal into the menu, alongside the unmissable Italian classics. The style of service will encourage guests to convene, socialise and share dishes. Such a style of enjoying cuisine is the cornerstone of gastronomy in the Mediterranean. Most importantly, the owners outline the importance of making guests feel welcome and relaxed at Narbon Restaurant.
Event organisers eagerly welcomed the newly-opened restaurant, as the owners will rent the restaurant for private groups and events. The restaurant comprises two rooms; the entrance is ideal for standing reception, while the dining hall can be used as a lecture room or room for catering. Narbon Restaurant can welcome 90 attendees in a theatre setting or 110 guests in a sitting reception.
Upon stepping foot in the restaurant, guests will be surprised by an intriguing colour twist. The high brick ceiling with imposing arches features hues of white, while the furniture is daubed in brick shades. The historical space thus appears reinvigorated and youthful. In addition, the restaurant features spacious windows, connecting the venue with the bustling street and adding a final touch to the welcoming ambience.
What caught our eye when visiting Narbon Restaurant was the attention to detail. The interior, the staff’s uniforms and the plating are world-class. The dishes are tasteful and incredibly eye-catching. What counts most is the professional service we experienced during our visit. The owners emphasise they cherish contact with guests the most. That may be the secret formula to why they already have loyal returning guests.
