Choices/Voices

The film „Choices/Voices“ will be part of the main program of the „One World“ festival. The screening will take place on November 8 at 6:00 p.m. at Goethe Institute.

Choices/Voices / Sara Dutch, Melanie Sien Min Lyn / Germany 2021 / 98 min. – The film critically assesses the systemic barriers to abortion access in Germany through a mix of personal accounts, docufictional scenes, and topical interviews. In doing so, the film adresses over arching questions of population control policies and bodily self-determination: Which parents, which children, and which families are deemed desirable and why?
