Konektiv [fjúžn] Night: Lenka Novosedlíková & Bálint Takács + more
An evening full of new performances where diverse musical genres and cultures intertwine – musicians representing the local scene join forces in artistic collaboration with musicians of foreign origin.
The Konektiv Nights concept has been held annually in the Czech Republic since 2018, and this year, in cooperation with the [fjúžn] Festival, it will for the second time also be presented in Slovakia with the following line-up:
Lenka Novosedlíková & Bálint Takács
- Lenka Novosedlíková is a composer, musician (melodic percussion instruments and more), and organizer, focusing on contemporary music, alternative projects, and improvisation.
- Bálint Takács is a percussionist, composer, and educator, active primarily on the jazz scene.
Tereza Pavlíková & Rami Shaafi
- Tereza Pavlíková is a singer and performer who creates introspective and delicate compositions, often built through layered vocal textures using looping.
- Rami Shaafiis a singer specializing in overtone and throat singing, with a strong emphasis on the spiritual and healing dimensions of music.
Olga Smorkis & Slávo Krekovič
- Olga Smorkis is a bandura player – the traditional Ukrainian plucked string instrument.
- Slávo Krekovič is a musician, sound artist, curator, and organizer focusing on experimental and contemporary music.
