Kristina Warren + Márk Bartha

On Friday, March 24, sound artists Kristina Warren and Márk Bartha will visit A4 in Bratislava.

American sound artist and composer Kristina Warren believes that „collective listening is a rare and political act“. Warren uses self-constructed instruments in the creation of performances, installations and compositions. Their style, referred to as „ASMR drone“, uses quieter volumes and sensitive orchestrations of soft sounds, capable of inducing pleasant physical sensations of trembling and tingling on the skin.

Electronic musician and multimedia artist Márk Bartha (also known as Lohuma as a DJ) prepared a new audiovisual performance combining multi-channel sound and light LED elements during his two-month residency in A4.

The performance was created as part of the Visegrad Artist Residency Program with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.
