Nikoleta Dekanová: insulation

Insulation explores feelings of loneliness and isolation, which are common among young people today. These feelings often stem from pressure to perform, whether from school, work, or social media. Insulation is a layer that people create to protect themselves from the outside world. And like any proper insulation, this one is on the facade.

Nikoleta Dekanová is a graphic designer and master’s student at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava at the Department of Visual Communication in the Typolab studio. In her work, she focuses on typography, which she combines with various design disciplines. She also devotes herself to font design and lettering and organizes workshops on these topics.
