PechaKucha Night Bratislava 57: Zbierky naratívov

The 57th edition of PechaKucha Night Bratislava, organized in cooperation with the Bratislava City Gallery in connection with the intergenerational group exhibition Sediments of the World and in collaboration with Bratislava Design Week, will focus on the specifics of creative approaches related to the phenomenon of collecting. Sediments of the World, and in cooperation with Bratislava Design Week, will focus on the specifics of authors‘ creative approaches related to the phenomenon of collecting, hoarding, and accumulation as a creative impulse. It will present the ways in which artists, through the need to collect, preserve, and categorize various found objects, create new perspectives on past and present contexts. At the same time, it will look at collections as triggers for chains of associations, stories, and new narratives, and reveal the extent to which the personalities of the authors are reflected in the objects they collect.
