Don’t miss the last guided tour of the intergenerational group exhibition dealing with the phenomenon of collecting as a creative impulse, led by the exhibition curator Naďa Kančevová.
The intergenerational group exhibition Sediments of the World is the first large-scale exhibition project in Slovakia dealing with the phenomenon of collecting as a creative impulse. Curated by Nada Kancheva, it features nearly thirty representatives of our art scene who create through collecting, collecting or accumulation, in various senses of the word.
Each of the personalities represented in the exhibition reveals to us their fascinations, obsessions and inspirations with the found remains of the material and natural world – „sediments“ brought to life in new and often surprising contexts.

For parents interested in visiting the curated exhibition, we are preparing a parallel educational program for their children aged 6–11. Together with gallery educator Vendy Kováčová, they will explore different approaches to creating works of art from collected artifacts and find their own creative ways of creating collections. Children can take home everything they create.

- Recommended age: 6 – 11 years
- Tickets are on sale online and at the Pálffy Palace box office.
- The number of seats is limited
- With the ticket you can visit the exhibitions in the palace after the event.
- You need to arrive on time for the program, the gallery educator will be waiting for you at the entrance to the palace.
- There is no need to bring art supplies or materials or any artistic ideas to the event. We will provide everything you need. Just dress comfortably.
