Roller Skating Workshop

From 17:00 to 18:00, skater Natali Dani will teach you basic dance steps that every beginning skater can master, and later in the evening you will be able to enjoy them in the roller rink.
*If you are renting roller skates, we recommend you to come 15 minutes earlier.

Roller Disco

The skate rental shop will be open from 17:00 to 22:30, but the roller rink will not open until after the workshop at 18:10. To help you with your first skating steps, skaters from the Ahojwlrd club will be there for you throughout the evening. However, if you are not interested in dance technique on double-row skates, feel free to bring inline skates and enjoy riding in a circle.

Theme

After warming up during the day on the Prior’s terrace, you can move inside, where, just like the warm sun, you will be warmed by the movement on skates and hot house and disco beats. Even if the space is well air-conditioned, you will want to take off your clothes (even in your swimsuit) and cool off with a cold summer drink. Feel free to bring an inflatable and leave it by the pool while you have fun.

After 23:00, all disco maniacs will move to the front part of Kácečko – at the bar.

The musical groove of the whole evening will be created by disco and house beats from DJs Freezy, Makepeace and Oosh.

Freezy

His friends don’t call him anything other than Freezy. The nickname originated in his youth and also describes him in his DJ career. He got into the club community through the people around the legendary clubs of Bratislava called Účko and Subclub. He was brought up at illegal parties and SlovTekk, where he gradually honed his musical taste. With increasing experience in playing, he became one of the residents of Bratislava’s Nu Spirit. Marek Víger likes to mix extraordinary dance styles. He watches and perceives his audience, to which he responds. He likes to please the listeners with soft chill music in the bar and, on the contrary, in the club he can get the crowd dancing with cheerful house, where there is no shortage of energetic vocals. However, you could also see him at many parties dominated by techno, which he is no stranger to. For Freezy, it is important that people have a pleasant experience when hearing his sets.

Makepeace

Before Makepeace got into selecting music, she was into dancing, and so the organizers of Roller Disco are excited to enjoy an evening together on skates when the DJ won’t be playing music. Makepeace is a resident in the Radosť club where she organises her own Make peace love & music event. She prefers a faster, violent dance tempo in the music genre of house and techhouse. Her selection was significantly influenced by genres such as Chicago house, disco and hip-hop. Last year you could see and hear her at the City Walls under Bratislava Castle, during the Sunset Boulevard party at UFO nad Dunaj, at the largest Czech festival Beats 4 Love or at the legendary Prague club Studio 54.

Oosh

In addition to organizing and making sure the Roller Disco is running smoothly, Oosh will entertain us with his Disco and House selection, among which you will also find better-known beats that will not let you sit still. OOSH brought us the fever of Saturday night during all previous Roller disco parties at Kácečko, but only few people know that for the first time he set the rhythm and good vibes to the skaters with his music in the sports hall last year, and also accompanied them to the outdoor Roller Disco event around the fountain in the Park Andreja Hlinku. DJ Oosh often appears at other Bratislava events, and in connection with his local friends and DJs, they also create their own events under the name Hudobná výhova. His range of playing ranges mainly between disco, italo, deep house and chicago.
