Saxophobia Bratislava 2026: Gala concert of saxophone masters

*The concert is dedicated to the saxophone as a classical music instrument. Lecturers who have accepted invitations to teach at the Saxophobia Bratislava 2026* masterclasses will be introduced. All performers are top-class, world-renowned artists who also work as teachers at conservatories and universities.

Programme:

The concert will feature compositions by lesser-known as well as well-known composers for saxophone and piano, saxophone quartet, and octet. Several of them were dedicated to the performers, and there will also be several Slovak and world premieres of the rare composition Horon for Two Double Bass Saxophones by Turkish composer Özkan Manav.
