Slávnosť krátkeho filmu 2022

The winter solstice is approaching, and the „Celebration of the Short Film“ is an inherent part of it. It will be possible to symbolically celebrate the shortest day of the year with four screenings of short films in A4. Visitors will find out what the magic of the film language is, and get to know exceptional women filmmakers and exceptional filmmakers.

Block 1: block of Slovak films – Friday 18:00 – in brief with Slovak female authors

Block 2: the premiere of the film Nablízku – Friday 20:00 – ceremonial premiere of the Slovak film

Block 3: Girls in Film – Saturday 18:00 – Girls in Film – films by brave female filmmakers

Block 4: eggtuitive dialogue – Saturday 20:00 – eggtuitive dialogue – film dialogue with visual artist and storyteller Katarína Poliačiková

Celebration of the short film 2022 was financially supported by the Bratislava City Foundation and the Lita Fund. The event is created in cooperation with the Slovak Film Institute and the Film and Television Faculty of the University of Performing Arts. The celebration of the short film is organized and curated by the civic association Disco sailing. The event is being held in Slovakia for the seventh time.
