Susedský piknik – brunch

Ukrainians and Slovaks are neighbours not only geographically, they now live in „one house“ and their children run together on the playground or sit together in the school desk. Sometimes, however, there is still misunderstanding between these peoples. That’s why a joint brunch is coming up to bring Slovaks and Ukrainians together and allow them to share their experiences with each other. Refreshments will be prepared for a true picnic brunch and visitors will be welcome to share their favourite dishes. The event will also include discussion panels.

Program:

• 11:00 – 12:00 – Delicious food will be prepared and neighbors will be welcome to bring food specialties.
• 12:00 – 13:45 – Discussion panels with representatives from both communities on the topic:
  • How to support a person trying to adapt in a new city.
  • What do Slovaks know about Ukrainians. Recalling good examples and stories about Ukrainians. Together with the authors of the New Neighbors podcast.

No age limit, pets are welcome and there are free seats on the terrace.
