On September 26, A4 will host An Evening of the Unsupported.

An improvised program consisting of theater and dance performances, as well as readings from texts by Slovak writers that the FPU Council has withdrawn its support for, contrary to the recommendations of expert committees. Despite this, Slovak artistic creation will continue.

The evening will be divided into four blocks.

Performers will include: Ateliér Bez StropU, Uhol_92, Š. E. M., Dogma Divadlo, Jedným dychom, divadlo SkRAT, Koloman Kertész Bagala, Ivana Gibová, Peter Šulej, Michael Papcun, Soňa Uriková, Peter Balko, Nicol Hochholczerová, and others.

The evening will also include Debate_A4: Culture without public support, art without funding.

The basic admission fee is €15, but you can pay more if you wish. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Anténa – a network for independent culture – to support the continuation of their activities aimed at defending the independence and transparency of the distribution of public funds earmarked for culture through the Fund for the Support of the Arts.
