The goal of the event is to find answers to questions about the function of sound in audiovisual creation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Film sound is built in relation to the image and in relation to it creates an acoustic space in which communication takes place. Can we replace the story in the picture with sound even without words? Apart from descriptive narration, what does sound speak to us about and what can it say all at once in one moment? Is sound universal for all people in the creation of narrative and associative perceptions? At the event, visitors will listen to samples from films, and through an open analysis of auditory perception, they will try to understand more deeply the language in which films speak to them. The workshop will be accompanied by the sound master and teacher of the Film Faculty of V\u0160MU, doc. Du\u0161an Koz\u00e1k, ArtD.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The discussion will be held in English and will be interpreted into Slovak and Slovak Sign Language. Streaming with interpretation into Slovak and Slovak Sign Language can be watched on the One World Film Festival channels.
