They represent the generation of Roma children who immigrated to the UK in the 1990s and at the beginning of the new millennium. In England, they were given opportunities that were denied to them in their native country, Slovakia or the Czech Republic, and thanks to this they are today educated and self-confident Europeans. However, Brexit and the global pandemic affected their lives.
