By sta\u00adging and tech\u00adnic\u00adally repur\u00adpos\u00ading com\u00admon\u00adplace objects, Komarova\u2019s works emphas\u00adise son\u00adic and visu\u00adal poten\u00adtial of the non-human world. Working with sound as a per\u00adform\u00adat\u00adive medi\u00adum, she con\u00adtinu\u00adously devel\u00adops DIY elec\u00adtro-acous\u00adtic objects and lets them tem\u00adpor\u00adar\u00adily inhab\u00adit the sites of per\u00adform\u00adances and installations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yann Leguay:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yann Leguay is a Brussels based artist, located on the border between conceptual art and music, he focuses on media archeology while developing critical thinking on technological evolution. He focuses on the notions of dematerialization, the use of interfaces and everything about the materiality of memory. In his sound practice he was defined as a &#8222;media saboteur&#8220; by the Consumer Waste label, seeking to fold the sound materiality in on itself using basic means in the form of objects, videos and performances. In concerts, he pushes the boundaries of accepted norms of audio behaviour, using uncommon machineries for the playback of audio media: opened hard-drives as turntables, an angle grinder as a microphone or the sound of the electricity.
