There was a growing demand for their commercial use, and societies were formed. They were meant to spread the idea of nation, thus connecting with national consciousness. In a critical analysis of the misuse of embroidery and folklore, the folklorist Zuzana Tajek Pie\u0161ov\u00e1 (Folklore Without Fake) and Silvia Ciulis, a clothing designer specializing in folk culture, will discuss the misuse of embroidery and folklore.
