Mother Of Millions, representatives of the contemporary progressive metal scene from Athens, are coming to Bratislava for the first time. Their music is a fusion of post-metal, progressive techniques, and cinematic atmosphere. Fans who like bands such as Leprous, Soen, Katatonia, and Pain Of Salvation are sure to enjoy themselves.<\/p>\n
In October 2024, the band released their fourth album, Magna Mater, which appeared in various year-end polls as one of the best progressive metal albums and captures the band at their creative peak \u2013 the recording is more dynamic, mature, and expansive than their previous work.<\/p>\n
During its relatively short history, the band has shared the stage with genre giants such as Devin Townsend, Opeth, Riverside, and Leprous, and their performances can be described as thrilling and emotionally resonant.<\/p>\n
The special guest of this event will be Bratislava’s Underdose, a sludge metal band whose music has evolved over the years and several lineup changes from a stoner grunge foundation through post-metal experiments to a distinctive blend of heavy doom guitars, dark hardcore, and electronics reminiscent of the atmosphere of John Carpenter’s films.<\/p>\n
On their latest album, Tilt, released in December 2024, Underdose presented themselves in their most mature form yet. For the first time, they incorporated synthesizers and electronic elements into their work, shifting their sound to even darker and heavier positions.
