Research clearly shows that the built environment significantly affects people\u2019s lives and health.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visual pollution means stress.<\/p>\n<p>Excessive noise means stress.<\/p>\n<p>Chaotic urban transportation infrastructure means stress.<\/p>\n<p>A well-designed city means a better, safer, and healthier life. That is why it makes sense to gradually transform public spaces, streets, and roads into safer, cleaner, more beautiful\u2014and more refined\u2014places.<\/p>\n<p>Public space manuals and specific changes developed by the Bratislava Metropolitan Institute since its inception also contribute to this. In the Czech Republic, the organization Na\u0161e kultivovan\u00e1 m\u011bsta is also dedicated to transforming streets.
