Bratislava Mozart Festival 2018
The 5th year of the Bratislava Mozart Festival will be held from 26th October until 11th November 2018 in Bratislava. Apart from other pieces, the visitors can look forward to hear Mozart’s „Parisian“ Symphony, the Concert for Flute and Harp and the Requiem. A special concert under the title “Musica Slovaca et Bohemica” is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of foundation of the Czechoslovak Republic, where unique pieces by Anton Zimmermann, Georg Druschetzky and Johann Joseph Rösler will be premiered. Foreign top soloists will present themselves at the Bratislava Mozart Festival 2018 – the Australian flautist Georgia Browne, the Austrian harpist Reinhild Waldek and the Czech clarinettist Igor Františák. Further home and foreign artists and ensembles will perform at the event: Solamente Naturali under the direction of Miloš Valent, the Orchestra 1756 under the baton of Marián Lejava, the Lotz Trio lead by Róbert Šebesta, the BAMF Orchestra under the direction of Martyna Pastuszka as well as soprano Marianna Gelenekyová. Lovers of classical music can expect extraordinary artistic experiences performed by „Mozartean“ music specialists in representative concert venues with professional accompanying notes and refreshment.
