The Christmas Cverna Market is a local art and design market – offering the best of the work of the local studios in Nová Cvernovka, as well as other vendors with local, nature-friendly design. You can also look forward to tasty gastro, a full-day cultural programme and interactive workshops.
The cultural and creative centre Nová Cvernovka is located in a former school building at Račianska 78, 15 minutes by tram from the centre of Bratislava.
The building houses 132 art and creative studios. You’ll also find a shop selling prints and other art products by local artists, a children’s clothing store by local artisans, a bookstore, and artists’ showrooms. The center includes a bistro, a bar, an excellent artisan pastry shop and cafe, a coworking space, a nightclub, and a theater room.
Nová Cvernovka provides a variety of cultural and educational programs year-round in a variety of areas: music, visual arts, literature, film, theater, and multi-genre activities.
