Many literary and musical pieces of art were created under mutual inspiration. We would like to emphasize this phenomenon with our performances and to explain the inner message of the authors, who tried to encode them in their pieces, to the audience. These evenings with music and word will take place in the artistic and architectonic ambience of the Nedbalka Gallery.

The Mucha Quartet was founded in the year 2003 at the Conservatory in Bratislava and belongs to the most promising young chamber ensembles in Slovakia. The first teacher of the Quartet was Stanislav Mucha, the father of the cellist Pavol Mucha and the first violinist of the Moyzes Quartet, which bore the name Mucha Quartet in the years of study. The members of today’s Mucha Quartet study chamber music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna under Johannes Meissl, as well as at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in the class of Ján Slávik.
