Cosmos Discovery

The “Cosmos Discovery” world exhibition charts manned spaceflight from its origins to current planned missions. It introduces visitors to the first space years, milestones in the post-war history of mankind, as well as the latest projects and visions. The exhibition offers the opportunity to experience the real stories of heroes who crossed the boundary of the atmosphere.

The exhibition Cosmos Discovery was created in cooperation with NASA, Czech, Slovak and foreign experts. It will be officially opened at Incheba Expo Bratislava on October 1, 2022 and it will cover more than 2,000 m2.

The exhibition will present hundreds of exhibits mapping the development of manned space flights from the historical beginning to the currently planned missions. Among the exhibits, there will be the Russian Sputnik, Lajka, Gagarina, or the American rocket Mercury. There will be the Apollo lunar program, but also the Russian Lunochod, a huge model of the Saturn rocket or the original Russian Soyuz. The exhibition will also include a tour of space suits, parts of spaceships and space stations, or the control center in Houston.

Upon entry, each visitor receives a cosmonaut card with the name and story of a real cosmonaut, about whose space mission they will learn more details in the exhibition space. A children’s educational trail has been prepared for children, thanks to which they will not only have fun, but also gain a lot of new knowledge.

In the interactive Cosmocamp, which is part of the exhibition, visitors will be able to try cosmonaut training and various 3D technologies. An audio guide for adults and children will also be available. Every visitor can download it to their own mobile device for free.

For the school group, a reservation is required at (name of the school, date of arrival + time, number of children, contact person). Pedagogical accompaniment for over 10 children for free (every 10 children = 1 teacher free of charge). Cultural vouchers are not accepted. Children under the age of 6 enter for free.
