The legendary and fantastic world of hobbits and elves is coming alive again
Experience a journey into the world of fantasy thanks to a musical and visual performance presented by the Kiev symphony orchestra The Lords of The Sound. A spectacular two-hour concert of the symphony orchestra, choir and soloists awaits you in Bratislava at the beginning of February.
From the hilarious melodies of the hobbits to the beautiful lyrical songs of the elves to the menacing sounds of Mordor – the Oscar-winning music of Howard Shore composed for the famous film trilogy ‘The Lord of the Rings’ will sound in full force and create an unforgettable atmosphere of Middle-earth.
John Ronald Reuel Tolkien became famous around the world thanks to the series of novels ‘Lord of the Rings’. Throughout his life he devoted himself to the story of his fictional empire – Middle-earth. With his unsurpassed work, he inspired the Canadian composer Howard Shore to create a masterpiece of music that earned the highest ratings from music critics and has millions of admirers around the world.
Ukrainian Lords of the Sound orchestra is a long-time worshipper of epic music themes and constantly enjoys the European audience with distinctive and unforgettable concerts of music by famous film composers such as Hans Zimmer, Ramin Javadi, Klaus Badelt, James Howard and others.
Thanks to the orchestra, you can now enjoy iconic melodies from The Lord of the Rings on February 2 at the Refinery Gallery even at two concerts. The first one starts at 4 p.m., the second one at 7 p.m. You can come to each of the concerts 30 minutes in advance.
