Saxophobia Bratislava 2017

Das Saxofon is bei meisten oft vor allem als ein Jazz Instrument wahrgenommen. Aber ursprünglich war das Instrument The saxophone is perceived by the majority of people as a jazz instrument. However, it was constructed by Adolph Sax for the classical music. This is widely an underrated topic and therefore the first master classes for saxophone in classic are happening in Bratislava.

Saxophobia Bratislava 2017 are international saxophone master classes for students of conservatories and universities. There will be individual lessons at selected professors in the morning and in the afternoon will be rehearsals of the unique Saxophone Orchestra – orchestra made only of all kinds of saxophones and one set of drums. On 26th February this orchestra, part of which you might be, will play the public concert in the Slovak Radio concert hall.
