The first concert of the festival awaits you on the first day of September. On Thursday, September 1, in the square in front of the Pradiareň 1900, for the first time during the more than 50-year career of the Elán group, the greatest hits of this Slovak legend could be heard in the premiere as an orchestral work accoridng to the original authorship of Ľubica Čekovská.

The next day will belong to the jazz of the Visegrad Group countries. Gustáv Brom’s Big Band, led by Vlado Valovič, will host Polish singer Aga Zaryan, a young talent of the Czech jazz scene Marta Kloučková, Hammond organ player Ondřej Pivec and pianist Robi Botoš on the square in front of the Pradiareň 1900.

One day later, one of the most famous contemporary world tenors, José Cura, and the first Slovak symphony orchestra, the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra under the leadership of its principal conductor Daniel Raiskin, will perform at the same venue again. By interpreting modern arrangements in a classic dress, the ladies will convince you that the classic is like a romance.

On Tuesday, September 6, you will find yourself in the fire whirl at the Ružinov firehouse on Peace Street. The Capella Istroplitana chamber orchestra will bring the symbolically fiery music of Vivaldi, Marcello, Falla, Moriccone or Piazolla to the premises of this national cultural monument.

A day later, an operetta will be celebrated in the amphitheatre. Hungarian and Slovak soloists from national opera houses will sing the most beautiful operetta melodies known to operetta literature. The works of the operetta masters from Lehár to Kálmán to Strauss will be performed.
