40th Bratislava Mushroom Exhibition

Mushrooms will take over Bratislava this October! The 40th anniversary of the Mushrooms 2025 Exhibition will showcase hundreds of freshly picked species – from delicious edibles to those you’d better avoid. Experts will be on hand to answer questions, contests will test your mushroom-hunting skills, and kids can enjoy their own activities.

October 3–5, 2025 (Friday–Sunday), 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:30 PM)

Venue:
SNM – Natural Science Museum, Vajanského Embankment 2, Bratislava (raised ground floor, behind the internal staircase on the right)

Can I bring mushrooms I collected myself / home mushrooms? Yes, you can submit them for the competition or show them to expert advisers in the advisory service.
Do I need to buy tickets in advance? Tickets are available at the museum ticket office. Advance reservation is recommended especially for groups.
Is this event suitable for children? Definitely – there are special activities planned for young mushroom pickers.
How to get there and parking? The museum is located at Vajanského Embankment, accessible by car and public transit. Parking may be limited, arrive early.
Will there be multilingual info about mushrooms? Yes, there will be English and probably German at main information points.

  • Museum hours: Tuesday – Sunday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, last admission at 4:30 PM

  • Regular admission: €6.00

  • Discounted (students, seniors, children): €3.00

  • Small family ticket (1 adult + 2 children): €9.00

  • Large family ticket (2 adults + 3 children): €15.00

  • Free or reduced admission for children under 6, seniors over 70, holders of certain cards/proofs
