A day in the vineyards
For the 14th time, the Little Carpathian vineyards with magnificent views will open from Rača to Modra and you can enjoy them with a glass of wine in your hand
The winemakers will offer grapes and wine made from it. For this great wine-growing experience you can go on foot, by car, but also by bicycle.
On this day, music will play in the vineyards, and in addition to wine, sparkling frizzante, grape must and young wine, winemakers will also offer their homemade specialties. Do not miss a unique day, come and enjoy delicious Malokarpaty wines and at the same time take a walk through the beautiful hills of vineyards in the end of summer.
The offer contains more than 60 vineyards from Rača through Svätý Jur, Limbach, Pezinok and Šenkvice to Modra. Travel through them with a map that will make it easier for you to taste the grapes and the wine made from these vineyards. Visit the Šínweg, Gelnar, Huncpalky, Hoffnáre, Téglik or Šarkaperky single vineyards, Calvary in Modra, Kamenica under the Stará hora mountain in Pezinok, single vineyard Hofweingarten, which stretches to the city walls of Svätý Jur, do not come around the Blaufränkisch Gene Pool in Rača, Hasensprung in Limbach, the Šenkvice winemakers lane in the Kozara vineyard or the Breeding Vineyard with a collection of Piwi varieties in Šenkvice.
And what else will you experience on this great wine-growing and vineyard journey? You will be surprised by the magnificent views of the towns of Pezinok and Modra, Svätý Jur and Rača, for which it is worth walking a few meters uphill. Saturday’s experience will also be about gastronomic delicacies, such as fragrant sausages, chef’s specialties, vineyard goulash, cracklings pogachas, homemade cakes or even Slovak cheeses.
Take a trip, take advantage of the unique opportunity to visit the Little Carpathian vineyards, taste the grapes, but also the wine made from it. The Little Carpathian Wine Route Association invites you to the vinelands.
Tickets worth €20 can be purchased in selected wine bars in the Bratislava districts of Rača and Nové Mesto, in Svätý Jur, Pezinok and Modra. Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event directly in selected vineyards. The ticket also includes a bonus for the purchase of wine and grapes worth €5.
