A march to condemn hatred against the LGBTI community
Organizer’s text: “The murder of two young men on Wednesday evening in the LGBTI premises Tepláreň shocked us and deeply affected us. With this memorial event, we want to honor the victims of this heinous act and condemn the violence against LGBTI people. Join us.”
The program:
17:00 Zámocká – Pieta for Juraj and Matúš, victims of the hate murder. After the pieta, there will be march and transfer to Námestie SNP.
17:30 Námestie SNP – Speeches: owner of Tepláreň café Roman Samotný, mayor of Bratislava Matúš Vallo, chairman of BSK Juraj Droba, Silvia Porubänová from SNSĽP, Vladimír Šucha for Representation of EC in Slovakia, vice president of European Parliament Michal Šimečka, Zlatica Maarová from Association of parents and friends of LGBTI people, rabbi Misha Kapustin, Sandra Polovková from Post Bellum, comedian Fero Joke and evangelical pastor Anna Polcková.
