Beyond Magic – concert of music from animated films
Experience a magical night full of unforgettable melodies that will transport you to the fantastic worlds of animated films. The Beyond the Magic concert will take you on a journey through the most beautiful songs that have become an essential part of cultural heritage.
Enjoy the beautiful melodies from films such as The Lion King, Frozen, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and let yourself be carried away on the waves of mysterious and poetic songs from the Japanese studio Ghibli, from which films such as Journey into Fantasy, The Boy and the Heron, or My Neighbour Totoro originate.
This unique musical experience will bring you orchestral arrangements of the most popular songs you know and love.
The concert will feature Korean cellist Boseong Cho, accompanied by pianist Angelina Kydora and a special guest.
Cellist Boseong Cho is a multiple winner of world competitions. He comes from South Korea and is a member of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra.
The concert will take place in the Klariska concert hall. This is the former Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, which has been used for cultural purposes since 1940. The church was consecrated in 1913. Relics were taken from its altars. In 1963 it was declared a cultural monument.
The premises of the former church enhance the concert experience not only thanks to its exceptional acoustics, but also thanks to its unconventional setting. The number of spectators (seats) is limited to 200.
