Biela noc 2024 x David Kollar & Quasars Ensemble: Oumuamua

The international art project Biela Noc 2024 has included David Kollar’s latest work Oumuamua in its musical programme section.

The composition combines the ethereal sounds of ambient music with the sophistication of modern classical music. Inspired by a mysterious celestial body named Oumuamua that traversed the galaxy – leaving scientists wondering if it was a probe from another world or a cosmic message – Kollar has created a sound work that transcends time and space. David Kollar will perform on acoustic baritone guitar and laptop accompanied by the Quasars Ensemble string section, all under the direction of composer and conductor Ivan Buffa.
