Cestou necestou – India

The next meeting of the Toastmasters Petržalka club will discuss the most populous country in the world, which is divided into 28 states, has 2 official and 21 local languages. It was a British colony for a long time and has been independent since 1947 – until India.

A land of tastes and smells, rich history, different religions and the ubiquitous cow. Guests will learn about its history, culture and iconic landmarks, but also get a glimpse of its flip side, where poverty, disorder and social imbalance abound. All those who enjoy adventure and exploring new places are invited to the Talks Café on Tuesday, March 18.

Toastmasters is the oldest educational system in the field of oratory and leadership, where participants learn by doing. This will also be an opportunity to watch ordinary speakers become masters of the word.

By attending Toastmasters events, attendees agree to be photographed and/or filmed. Photos and videos will be shared on social media. If a guest does not wish to be captured in photographs and/or videos, this should be communicated well in advance to the event organizer or by posting a “Do Not Photograph/Not Videotape” notice in a location clearly visible to the organizer.
