Harmoniemusik
Another of the Quasars Ensemble concerts will be part of the White Night in Bratislava
Harmoniemusik is a minimalist flowing movement in space and time, oscillating between music as an atmosphere and between music as a form.
Particular musicians, placed around the audience, surround it first with impulses, gradually transforming into harmony and motifs, until finally, a kind of musical development emerges, which tends to return to its starting point.
Its author is the leading German music composer Hans Thomalla, active in Chicago, who will also personally visit the launch of the artwork as part of the White Night.
The attempt to express a personal experience with the life dramas or losses he has faced in recent years creates something like a happy place lasting almost an hour, where one can escape from sadness, but it cannot be completely forgotten.
The concert will also include the premiere of Nonet by a composition student at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Andrej Harman, who is on an Erasmus study stay at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
Come on Sunday, September 18, at 7 p.m. to enjoy the music full of emotions and transfer for a moment to a completely different world.
