Konvoj historických vozidiel ulicami mesta

Experience a sight you don’t see every day! To mark 130 years of public transport in the capital, Bratislava Transport Company is organizing a festive parade of transport history through the streets. You will be able to see or ride entire generations of vehicles, from the majestic Ganz 104 tram from 1910, through legendary buses and trolleybuses, to the most modern trams that run on our roads and tracks today.

You can reserve a seat in your preferred vehicle here. However, if you want to see the entire unique convoy, we offer you a unique photo point where all three lines meet.

Convoy route:

• Trams will depart from Jurajov dvor Depot and travel via Trnavské mýto – Americké námestie – Štúrova – Starý most – Južné mesto – Starý most – Námestie SNP – tunnel – embankment, arriving at the Jesenského stop.

• Trolleybuses will depart from the Trnávka Depot and travel via Rožňavská – Jegého – Záhradnícka – Americké námestie – Hodžovo námestie – castle hill – Hroboňova Depot, where they will end their journey.

• Buses will depart from Depa Trnávka via Rožňavská – Trnavské mýto – Americké námestie – Hodžovo námestie – Most SNP – Sad Janka Kráľa, where the bus tour ends.

The best view of the entire convoy will be from Americké námestie, where the individual convoys will meet briefly and a whole century of transport technology will pass before your eyes.

Each type of transport will pass through the city without stopping to pick up or drop off passengers. Passengers will only be able to get off at the end of the route – at the Jesenského/Depo Hroboňova/Sad Janka Kráľa stop, depending on the vehicle. Passengers with valid tickets will board directly at Depo Jurajov dvor 15 minutes before the ceremonial departure at 4:00 p.m. The capacity of each vehicle is limited to seating only.

Please note that strollers cannot be transported in historic vehicles.

The tram convoy will also include modern trams, for which no ticket is required and travel is free of charge.

The organizer reserves the right to change the program. Participants will be informed of the details of the event in a timely manner, so we recommend that you provide correct contact information and check your spam folder.

Boarding the convoy is possible 15 minutes before departure at 4:00 p.m. at Depo Jurajov dvor. Seating is mandatory for all participants. Each vehicle is marked with a large number corresponding to the number on the ticket in front of the vehicle type. Please note that boarding and alighting at stops along the route is not possible. Strollers cannot be transported in the vehicles in the convoy.
