A defining figure of the Flemish experimental indie-pop scene, he recorded the album of the year 2024 according to the Boomkat portal – and now he is coming to present it in Bratislava.

His captivating, dreamy songs, woven from fluid melancholy, are wrapped in something familiar and close, yet enchanting with their unique (and personal) approach. Whether as a member of semi-cult bands such as Flying Horseman and Condor Gruppe, as an electronic composer on the Ekster and JJ Funhouse labels, Milan W. creates synthpop with Mittland och Leo or wades through playful Schlager with Gerard Herman. Unlike his previous electronic work, however, his latest creations feature guitars and even oboes alongside vocals and synths. According to several reviewers, these somewhat decadent songs with dark lyrics about breakups and toxic relationships are highly addictive.
