Night of Architecture

We would like to invite You to the 12th edition of Night of Architecture, which will take place on Thursday, 16th of February 2017 in the building of Faculty of Architecture, on the Námestie Slobody square in Bratislava.

Twelfth edition of Night of Architecture aims to bring focus to materiality and the meaning of light in architecture.

As users we percieve architecture mainly through our senses and experiences. Touching the plaster on the wall, refraction of light and its purpose in defining spaces, behaviour of materials under the pressure of elements. Its all about the sole meaning of detail, that can improve, or complicate the usability.

Night of Architecture, as a project, started 6 years ago. It is one night, when four floors of Faculty of Architecture transforms to a gallery full of student semestral projects. The basic idea is – Show to the world, what have been done throughout the last semester.

The most known guest will be Hikaru Nissanke from the London atelier OMMX. 

The programme starts at 5 pm.
