Prázdninový Štvrtok v ZOO – Karpatský les

ZOO Bratislava has prepared non-traditional activities for children from 8 to 12 years of age for spring holidays – Holiday lunches at the ZOO. The programme is varied, full of animals and interesting facts from the world of the animal kingdom.

The participation fee includes a one-time admission to the zoo and an educational programme led by an experienced lecturer.

Important information about the course of the educational programme:

The meeting with the participants is at 09:00 in front of the entrance to the zoo, where the children will be picked up by the lecturer. Children can be picked up after the program, at 12:00, before entering the zoo. The educational program takes place on the zoo grounds with facilities in the zoo club. It is recommended that children bring warm, waterproof clothing and footwear, a change of clothes and a snack.

Programme: the Carpathian Forest

Children will learn various interesting facts about the life of the bear, wolf and lynx, which represent the so-called “big three” in Slovakia. There will also be wild boar, deer, mouflons and majestic bison. In case of favourable weather, children will go to see Felix the bear, wolves, lynxes and species in the forest part of the zoo.
