Rača Feast 2019

The first weekend in May, on the 4th and 5th, 2019, traditional Rača feast is going to take place in the streets of Rača. The Feast starts on Thursday with the evaluation of the 23rd Račan Strawberry Flower, continuing on Friday with the exhibition of paintings by JUDr. Alena Polakovičová entitled “Views of Favorite Places”. During the weekend we have prepared a great program for you in the amphitheater in Knižkova dolina.

On Saturday we will have the pleasure to welcome the amazing Sima Martausová and you can also look forward to Brass music band Textilanka, or one-man show of Ander from Košice. Kids’ zone which is set up in municipal garden will offer great chance for our little ones to live it up with lots of fun historical games, or sing-plays by Miro Jilo. You can come enjoy performances on stage in front of the Cooperative House Račan along with many exhibitions and a number of sporting events. You should not miss Sunday’s evaluation of the best feast-cake contest where you can taste all the cakes of the contestants. There will also be carousels, various attractions and all kinds of sales stalls for you to enjoy.
