The Revived Charm of Obituary Notices

The exhibition of unique obituary notices of aristocratic and yeomanly families as well as church officials from the collection of the Central-Slovakian Museum in Banská Bystrica. The core of the collection is based of 165 pieces of funerary hatchments originally collected by the  aristocratic Radvansky family. The funerary hatchments document in short the lives and destinies of the members of aristocracy, mainly from Central Slovakia. The exhibition in the Slovak National Museum will present this treasure for the first time to the general public in such a great extent.
