Exclusive guest in the Opera SND: Simon Keenlyside

On 7 November we shall be hosting the outstanding English baritone Simon Keenlyside, who has captivated audiences across the world´s foremost operatic houses, such as the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, the State Opera Hamburg, as well as in Geneva, San Francisco, Sydney, or Berlin.

Mr Keenlyside shall appear at the SND Opera as Rigoletto in the eponymous oeuvre by the Italian operatic giant Giuseppe Verdi.

The dramatic piece based on the Victor Hugo novel Le roi s´amuse contains an abundance of outstanding music, including the popular aria La dona e mobile that earned fame particularly when sung by Lucciano Pavarotti.  SND Opera brings the production with the finest cast in the lead roles, the extraordinary guest appearance of Simon Keenlyside, Slovak soloists Ľubica Vargicová, Ľudovít Ludha, Peter Mikuláš and many others on Wednesday 7 November at 19.00 hrs in SND new building, Opera and Ballet hall.
