Travelling on Archeobus

8:00 AM – 1:00 PM VISITING ROMAN MONUMENTS

During the Archeobus activities that are part of Limes Day, participants will visit ancient Roman monuments in Slovakia and nearby Austria. The role of Lime Days is to educate about Roman landmarks along the Danube border called Lime Romanus that was formedby Roman camps linked by roads. Its aim is to promote, in particular, the little-visited Roman monuments of Limes Romanus, as well as promote their inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Participants will conclude the journey at the Gerulata Castellum in Rusovce, where they can join the follow-up program of the Roman Games.
