Saxophobia Gala Concert

Saxophobia – Concert of a 50-member saxophone orchestra

Great Concert Studio of the Slovak Radio, Mýtna 1, Bratislava

If you can’t imagine how an orchestra made of 50 saxophones can sound, come on Sunday, February 24th to the Slovak Radio building in Bratislava.

The orchestra consisting of 50 participants of international master classes Saxophobia Bratislava 2019 will introduce almost all types of saxophones: sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone up to bass saxophone.

Special guests will be two saxophone quartets and soloists from Slovenia.

The program of the concert will be very interesting for listeners. There will be pieces from J. S. Bach, G. F. Händel, M. P. Mussorgsky, B. Bartók, Pedro Itturralde, Robert Kamplet, Jevgenij Iršai or M. Ravel on the list. The concert is conducted by Andreas van Zoelen from the Netherlands.
