Workshop: Čalúnenie

How does the Bratislava Transport Company take care of the seats on which thousands of Bratislava residents travel every day? In the upholstery workshop, you will be able to see for yourself how covers for trams, buses, and trolleybuses are prepared. The most adventurous will have the opportunity to try the whole process for themselves.

Under the guidance of experienced upholsterers, you will learn what materials we use, how pieces of fabric and foam are turned into finished seats, and what requirements they must meet to withstand years of use.
Participants should meet 5 minutes before the scheduled start time at the “Workshop: Upholstery” sign, which will be located at the Cabriobus stop and car wash. For safety reasons, visitors must be at least 10 years old to enter the upholstery workshop.
